How do I build a workflow that asks customers for Google reviews?

Build it as a workflow in an AI agent.

  1. Send an opening message by SMS, for example thanking the customer for their recent service and asking how it went, as an open-ended question. The same messaging works for email.
  2. When the customer replies, the AI agent takes over, as long as the agent is turned on and listening on that channel. Put your logic in the agent instructions, for example: if the customer had a great experience, ask them to leave a review on the Google profile and send the full review link; if they did not, try to book a meeting with the manager before asking for a review. Paste the full Google profile link into the instructions. That is the minimum an agent needs to generate reviews.
  3. To let the AI book the meeting, give the agent the built-in Bookable tool, choose a calendar and save it. Then in the prompt type @ and tag the booking tool next to the instruction.
  4. To try again, add a wait (for example one day) and send another message, perhaps by email, then a third attempt by SMS. Three attempts is a common pattern.
  5. To stop the sequence once the customer has acted, add a Deactivate From Workflow step set to deactivate from all workflows in the agent. Give it triggers such as Appointment Scheduled (pick the same calendar) and Link Clicked (choose the channel and provider). One workflow can have as many triggers as you want.
  6. Give the workflow a clear name, such as Review Request, and save.
